Alan Beder, L.M.T.
Instructor: Massage, Hydrotherapy, HIV/AIDS, Statutes & Rules, Allied Modalities.

Alan is a graduate of Central Florida School of Health Sciences. Ordained in 1993 as a non-denominational minister in New York State, he has over twenty years experience with spiritual counseling and hands on healing and has provided spiritual support in a variety of settings. Currently, he is an associate at Integral Life Institute, practicing massage, using traditional, cranial sacral and other energy techniques. He also teaches classes in meditation.

Ellen Caravati-Klinker, B.S., L.M.T., C.N.M.T.
Instructor: Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Anatomy & Physiology, Massage, Hydrotherapy and Allied Modalities, Statutes & Rules, HIV/AIDS

Ellen received her Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology from Furman University and attended the University of Miami’s Masters Degree Program in Physical Therapy. She received her diploma in Massage Therapy from the Reese Institute. She received advanced training and Instructor Certification in the Maniken System of Musculoskeletal Anatomy from the Zahourek Institute. Ellen is also certified in Neuromuscular Therapy and Exercise Physiology Testing. She is in private practice in Winter Park.

Judy Chiappone, R.N. L.M.T.
Instructor: Massage and Allied Modalities

Judy received her diploma in Nursing from the Seton School of Nursing in Colorado Springs, CO. and her Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Reese Institute. She received advanced training in Therapeutic Touch in 1981 and has worked continuously as both a massage therapist and educator since 1983. Judy has been a Florida Continuing Education Provider for both Massage Therapists and Nurses since 1983 – 2002. Judy is the author of several books and videos, including: The Light Touch and Sacred Choices

Priscilla Elfrink, L.M.T., Facial Specialist

Priscilla received her Diploma in Massage Therapy in 1997 and is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Licensed Facial Specialist. Priscilla currently owns and operates Tranquil Moments Massage in Orlando where she continues to practice both Massage and Skin care. Prior to this Priscilla owned and operated The Central Florida School of Health Sciences from 1999 – 2002, Priscilla has lived in Orlando since 1979 where for more than twenty years worked along with her husband in a family owned business.

John J. Gorsuch, B.A., B.S., M.S.,
Instructor: Anatomy and Physiology Musculoskeletal, Allied Modalities

Mr. Gorsuch began his interest in the area of Health Sciences back in 1999 when he attended the Central Florida School of Health Sciences, Inc. Soon after, he went on to become a Licensed Massage Therapist and specialized in the treatment of sports injuries. Mr. Gorsuch also pursued education into the health field by attending Florida College of Integrative Medicine where he obtained a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Oriental Medicine Degree. There he studied Acupuncture and specialized in the use of Chinese Herbology. He also furthered his knowledge in the field of Massage Therapy by studying an ancient form of Chinese medical massage called “Tui Na.” After completing his education in December of 2002, Mr. Gorsuch began his private practice of Chinese Medicine as an Acupuncture Physician and a board certified Herbalist. Today, Mr. Gorsuch has a practice in Kissimmee and treats a wide variety of health diseases.

Shannon Kaul, B.S., F.S.
Instructor: Massage and Allied Modalities

Shannon received her Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Fitness from Florida State University in 1991 and her Diploma in Massage Therapy from the CORE Institute of Bodywork in 1990. She has received advanced training in Neuromuscular Therapy, On-Site Chair Massage, and “Mother Massage” for pre and postnatal women and Stone Massage. Shannon has worked with Physicians, Physical Therapists and Professional Athletes and currently has a busy practice in which she blends her skills in wellness education with On-Site and clinical massage.

Aisling Lynam, B.S., L.M.T., Facial Specialist
Instructor: Massage and Allied Modalities

Upon graduating from the Central Florida School of Massage Therapy in February 1997, Aisling has worked consistently in the massage field. In addition to being a LMT, other certifications include Esthetics and graduating Magna cum Laude from the University of Central Florida’s school of Business in 2002.

Kim Roberts, B.S., L.M.T., C.N.M.T., A.P.
Instructor: Massage and Allied Modalities

Kim received her Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida in 1998, her Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Reese Institute in 1990 and her Diploma in Acupuncture from the Florida School of Acupuncture in 1996. She has completed advanced training and received certification in Neuromuscular Therapy, Shiatsu and Traditional Japanese Acupuncture Technique. Kim was selected FSMTA Central Florida Chapter “Therapist of the Year” in 1993. She maintains a busy practice in Winter Park, specializing in Acupuncture and Therapeutic Massage.

John Stephens, B.S., L.M.T., C.N.M.T.
Instructor: Massage, Integrative Massage

John received his Bachelors Degree in Social work from the University of Central Florida in 1981 and his Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Reese Institute in 1991. He has received advanced training and certification in Deep Tissue/Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, C.O.R.E., and Structural Integrative Therapy and is a Second Degree REIKI Practitioner. John is the owner of the Stress Management Center in Cocoa Beach, a clinic specializing in medical massage.

Barbara Wooden Stickle, L.M.T.
Instructor: Allied Modalities

Barbara is a resident of Central Florida since 1964 and has been a Florida state Licensed Massage Therapist since 1995 after attending Advanced Massage Institute in Cocoa Beach. She comes from a 35 year background in yoga, dance and movement, having her own business and instructing in those areas of study for 21 of those years. Stickle created and presented, along with a local medical doctor specializing in sports medicine, a certification program for dance and health instructors, as well as physical therapists, known as Danscience, which focused on optimum muscular development from both a movement and biochemical point of view. Working with children referred to her by neurologists, medical doctors and physical therapists, along with her lifelong interest in massage and hands-on-healing, led to her work in massage therapy. Since becoming a therapist, Stickle has received advanced training in Myofascial and Structural Integration Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Insurance, Reiki, and Medical Qi Gong. She is currently part owner of Stress Management Center in Cocoa Beach, and is very busy with both her practice and instructing both Reiki and Medical Qi Gong. She also does private and group instruction in massage therapy insurance practice and billing. Stickle says that although she would not give up her private practice, her true love is teaching, saying that watching her students open up their minds and hearts is the greatest reward anyone could have.

Tania Valencia, L.M.T.

Tania came to the United States from Cali, Colombia in 1977 and attended Kean College. Tania worked as a Travel Agent for ten years prior to attending The Reese Institute graduating in 1995 with a diploma in Massage. Tania is a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Tranquil Moments Massage. Tania has many year of experience as Administrator of Central Florida School of Health Sciences.
